Description

The radiant cut combines the rectangular shape of an emerald with the brilliant faceting of a round, giving you the elongation of a step cut with full-fire sparkle. A hidden halo of small stones sits beneath the centre stone, viewable from the side but not from above. It adds detail and lift without changing the silhouette from the top. Pavé detailing along the band adds extra brilliance.

Made to order with delivery in 3-6 weeks, dispatched from our Southbank studio. The moissanite is graded to D-E colour and VVS clarity, with a GRC certificate of authenticity included. Lifetime warranty on the stone and craftsmanship, free resizing including shipping both ways.

Choose your metal (9k yellow, white or rose gold, 14k or 18k yellow gold, or platinum) and centre stone size (1ct to 7ct). Design consultations are by appointment only, in our Melbourne studio or by video call before you commit to a final design.

Crafting

Every ring is hand-set by generational jewellers & sent from Melbourne. Made to order within 6 weeks, or 3 weeks express for an additional $300.

Moissanite is GRC certified at D-E colour, VVS clarity. Lab-grown diamonds are IGI certified for cut, colour, and clarity. Every order offsets one tonne of carbon. All resizing and repairs handled in the same Melbourne workshop.

About this ring

Will anyone be able to tell it is moissanite?

Moissanite is slightly more brilliant than diamond, so an expert eye up close may notice the fire pattern is different, but across a table, on a hand, nobody is identifying it. Ours is graded D–E colour and VVS clarity, and comes with a third party GRC certificate.

Can this design be customised?

Almost everything can change: metal (9k, 14k, 18k gold in white, yellow or rose, or platinum), centre stone size, setting style, and band. Tell us what you would change and we will come back within 24 hours.

Are the corners protected?

Yes. The corners are the weak point on any square or rectangular cut, so they sit inside protective prongs rather than exposed. Radiants also have slightly trimmed corners by design, which makes them more forgiving in daily wear.

How delicate is a hidden halo?

Hidden halo designs are more delicate than a plain solitaire, because the halo stones are small and set into a fine piece of metal beneath the centre stone. They are beautiful and very popular, but they need a little more care than a solitaire. Manufacturing faults are repaired at no charge for life. Wear or accidental damage is repaired at cost price.

Can a pavé band still be resized?

Yes, but within a smaller range. Rings with stones set into the band can be resized up to 2 sizes, where a plain band can go up to 4. If this is a surprise proposal and you are unsure of the size, tell us, we will talk you through it, and your first resize within three months is complimentary either way.

Can I see this ring before I commit?

Yes. Design consultations are by appointment only, in our Southbank studio or by video, and there is no obligation. We can also send 3D CAD renders of your exact ring on request before anything goes into production, plus a photo of the finished ring before it ships.

How long until my ring arrives?

Standard processing is up to 6 weeks for made-to-order rings, plus 1-4 business days for Australian Express shipping (1-2 weeks internationally).

Express order processing is available for an additional $300, which guarantees dispatch within 3 weeks.

If you need delivery for a specific date, contact us before ordering and we will confirm whether your timeline is workable.

What if I get the ring size wrong?

Your first resize within 3 months is complimentary, including return shipping both ways.

  • Most rings can be re-sized within 4 sizes
  • Rings with stones set into the band can be re-sized within 2 sizes
  • Resizing takes 2-5 business days at our Melbourne workshop

If you are not sure of the size, we can post you a complimentary ring sizer. Most jewellers will also size at no charge, no purchase required. For a surprise proposal, a friend or family member who knows your partner can often find out the size discreetly.

What if my partner doesn't love the ring?

Every ring is custom made for you, so we do not offer change-of-mind returns or exchanges. If you would like to change the design after purchase, we can discuss reworking it and provide a quote before proceeding. Returns for faults and your Australian Consumer Law rights remain unchanged.
