Does a marquise look bigger than other cuts?
Yes. The elongated shape and large surface area make a marquise look larger on the finger than a round of the same carat weight, which is part of its enduring appeal.
Are the points fragile?
The two points are the most vulnerable spot, so we set every marquise with protective V-prongs over the tips. Compare with our oval and pear collections, or book a Melbourne studio appointment.
